![]() If someone could point me in the right direction to get set up testing my Home Assistant instance with a dev version of aiohue, I can tinker a bit with the code myself and may be able to provide more information.I had a Philips HUE lamp that went rogue after 4 years of working without any problems, so I had to replace it with a new one. I do use HACS for a couple common integrations like Plex Recently Added/Garbage Collection, but don't have anything related to lighting. I don't have any Hue components in HA other than the official Hue integration. I'm not using Node Red or anything like that.Īlso do you have any Hue custom components running? We have a few devices (2-4) with the official Hue app installed, but the vast majority of light control is done via vanilla HA automations, not manual control with apps. ![]() If I remember it correctly you also have another app hitting the bridge, correct ? Mostly yes (toggling on/off rooms), but they are grouped in the Hue app, not Home Assistant light groups, if that makes a difference. Is the light you're controlling a grouped light perhaps ? Maybe waiting longer between retries after several consecutive failures would help? Judging by the error messages I've seen in the logs, I suspect the new retry/backoff behavior is retrying too fast (at least for my bridge) in 503 scenarios and rapidly bogging it down. I do agree that my bridge seems to have a congestion issue and am working on pinning it down. I'll test again, but I tried starting up HA twice last night on 2021.12.4 (with several minutes in-between, for the bridge to recover) and was unable to get even 1 light command working. ![]() Raise RuntimeError("generator didn't yield") from Noneĭo you have close to 50 lights on the bridge ?ģ8 lights in total, recently expanded from ~20 and saw some very mild signs of bridge traffic congestion even on 2021.11.x, but nothing this bad.
